Martha Branson-Banks, a retired occupational therapist, began working with
glass and mosaics in 2003. Mrs. Branson-Banks' mother was a professional
artist, however, she has been trained by Toni Smith, an artist in Niles,
Michigan and by Martha Crandall of the Chicago Mosaic School. She has been
in several art shows, including a one-person show at the Shirley Roti-Roti
Gallery at the Buchanan Art Center in Michigan, Art for eh Mind at the
Stanley Clark School in South Bend, Indiana and the Sunnyside Presbyterian
Church also in South Bend, Indiana. Her work has been displayed at the Red
Shoe Jewelry Store and at the Frame of Mind Shop in Niles, Michigan.
Many of her inspiration are from the garden, her children and grandchildren,
as well as famous artists. She is a member of both Buchanan and Niles Art
Associations. Please view her gallery and feel free to contact her.
